Introducing the most fun you will have on your MTB this year. The Kargo National 10hr MTB Challenge. It's an endurance event, but with a difference. Gone are the events where all you do is ride your bike and sit in the dust while you partner slogs it out.

This will take place at the luxurious Kloofzicht Lodge in Muldersdrift, and it promises to be a day of fun in the sun. The idea is to have as much fun both on and off your MTB, so why don't you make this your last fun and official MTB ride before Christmas.

You can choose to ride solo, or in teams of 2 or 4. The race will start at 06.30 and finish at 16.30, and this is when the real fun will begin. The route will be a circular route and will take place in and around Kloofzicht. It will be a moderate to tough and challenging route, but will suit riders of all fitness levels. We assume here a basic level of MTB competence.

If you choose to ride as a team of 2 or 4 riders this will be a relay with only one rider per team permitted to be on the course at any given time during the race.

Included in your entry fee will be a special post race braai, plus there will be live entertainment, great goodie bags including a race T-Shirt and other useable goodies, plus complimentary massages compliments of Honda and Mangwanani Spa.

There will be activities throughout the day, and you are welcome to bring friends and family along. They can relax at the side of the pool, or make straight for the beer tent. Plus jumping castles and a playground for the kiddies.

And when you aren't riding, why not bring your fly fishing rod and try and bag a trout in one on the well-stocked dams. Alternatively, why not relax next to the pool and enjoy the stunning views.
